The Internet hype (only kind, due to severe lack of CBS promotion) surrounding Saturday’s event in which Fedor Emelianenko takes on relatively unknown Brett Rogers has been overshadowing a solid card set to be presented on Showtime.

Friday evening will be when fans can catch the latest in the Strikeforce Challengers series. The headlining fight will feature UFC vet Jorge Gurgle taking on undefeated Billy Evangelista. With Luke Rockhold taking on Jesse Taylor also on the main portion, this a gem of a free card that I recommend catching.
