Wanderlei Silva vs Rampage Jackson now possible at UFC 93
Wandy vs Rampage has apparently been postponed from its original date of UFC 91: “Couture vs. Lesnar” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 15.
The highly anticipated third rematch between the two fan-favorite light heavyweights could take place in January in Super Bowl weekend to add energy onto the already well-hyped St. Pierre vs BJ Penn card.
6th-Round.com had posted news of the originally scheduled fight earlier this month. Now possibly due to Jackson’s legal proceedings stemming from an arrest for reckless driving and evading arrest, the “Axe Murder” Silva will have more training time before attempting a third domination of “Rampage”. The first two victories came in the now defunct PRIDE fight organization, which operated in Japan.
We’ll keep you posted with updates as this situation continues to unfold.
