This year’s first fight card is set to take stage today from Dublin, Ireland and into tv sets around the country via pay-per-view.     Regret seeing Rich go down on a split decision, notwithstanding that Dan is a real credit to the UFC. It’s been said so many times that it’s best not left to the judges, and at times the accuracy of that old bromide can be painfully illustrated! Seems like exciting rematch material though ~

    Henderson desperately needed this W. Not many Pride guys are making a splash in the UFC except a few (rampage, silva, Nog) so this was crucial. I see Hendo fighting for the title the end of the year or 2010.

    Agreed, that it should be a goal for each fighter never to put it in the hands of the judges.

    Hendo’s on a roll lately, and I’d love to see him fight for the title as well, Adam. On a related note, I think Rich will rebound nicely.
