UFC 114: Jackson vs. Evans fight card finalized for May 29 in Vegas
The MGM Grand Garden Arena will play host to one of the year’s biggest fight cards as UFC 114 has been officially confirmed from top to bottom by the promotion.
“Jackson vs. Evans” will take place on the evening of Saturday, May 29th with a co-main event featuring light heavyweights Forrest Griffin and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (Lil Nog) facing off for contender status. Jackson and Evans were set to scrap after their stint as coaches on the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter but “Rampage” decided to dip out from their originally scheduled fight and appear in the A-Team movie.
While no under card bouts are yet to be slated for a Spike TV “Prelims” special leading into the pay-per-view portion of the night, it can expected that TUF stars such as Amir Sadollah and Efrain Escudero could appear in such a programming block.
