UFC 101: “Declaration” pre-fight press conference recap
Shortly after 1 p.m. EST, Dana White held the UFC 101: “Declaration” pre-fight press conference. In attendance were members of the media, as well as the main and co-main event fighters B.J. Penn, Kenny Florian, Forrest Griffin and Anderson Silva.

- Kenny Florian receives Tequila Cazadores Spirit Award for displaying good values and sportsmanship. He donates the thousand dollar check to an organization benefiting military members and veterans.
- Dana says no matter how much time or effort it takes to bring MMA to every state, UFC will make it happen
- Dana says he knows BJ has put in the time and effort for Sat’s fight
- BJ doesn’t thinking he’ll ever get respect in the sense that he trains hard
- Kenny answers press question in Espanol, NICE.
- Dana says Forrest was one of the first guys who popped up on the list when discussing opponents for Anderson
- Dana says Anderson may fight contenders @ 205 lbs. if he beats Forrest
- Pennsylvania Commission Executive Director says he’s very excited to have UFC in Philly
