The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 10 quarterfinals are set, Marcus Jones has BJJ
The last episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 10 aired last night via Spike TV. We previewed it for you guys n gals here, and now I have to say that Marcus Jones (Team Rampage) has indeed arrived.
Now, I don’t mean he’s instantly a top 10 HW but I am referring to his stature within the house. He did now allow himself to get dragged into a slug fest and gas like a majority of the big boys this season. Marcus fought smart and used his strength to take the fight where he wanted. Once things hit the ground, his opponent Mike Wessell (Team Rashad) couldn’t escape the slick submission game and was swiftly armbar’d.
With the first set of elimination bouts over and done with, here are the TUF 10 quarterfinal match-ups:
Roy Nelson (14-4) vs. Justin Wren (10-1)
Brendan Schaub (4-0) vs. Jon Madsen (3-0)
James McSweeney (12-4) vs. Matt Mitrione (0-0)
Marcus Jones (4-1) vs. Darrill Schoonover (10-0)
