CHICAGO, Ill. (June 14, 2010) - Bellator Fighting Championships announced today that top-ten 115 pounder Angela Magana has been added to Bellator’s stellar list of top-competitors in the upcoming Bellator Season 3 Women’s Tournament.
According to recently released rankings, the rising star is currently the #8 ranked female fighter in the world at 115 lbs. Magana, who holds a professional record of 9-4, faces the toughest test of her career in a stacked 115 lbs. tournament roster.

It was announced last night’s post-fight press conference following the Strikeforce: “Evolution” event that two title fights will be on the promotion’s next major fight card.
Two of the top women in MMA will battle it out for the featherweight title as Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos is scheduled to meet the proven Dutch product Marloes Coenen. Santos was last seen wrecking the well-known face of Gina Carano, and Coenen had her first victory under the Strikeforce banner in August when she defeated Roxanne Modafferi.

Popular mixed martial arts fighter Tara LaRosa is coming back to Atlantic City, NJ this weekend. LaRosa, a native of Woodstown, will take on Seattle resident Sally Krumdiack in a three-round bout on Saturday, March 28 at Trump Marina Hotel Casino as part of an 11-fight card being promoted by Extreme Challenge.
