Breaking down the UFC 104: “Machida vs. Shogun” under card fights

Recently the UFC began having Spike TV air at least two under card fights before their Pay-Per-View portion of the evenings begin and that means more exposure for the prelim fighters.

UFC employs new marketing tactics, UFC 103 under card to air on Spike

In a first-ever move for the world’s most prominent MMA promotion, the UFC will air the under card fights of 103: “Franklin vs. Belfort” on Sept. 19 in their entirety for free on Spike TV. The prelim bouts which precede the main pay-per-view portion of the evening have never before been scheduled for television.

Affliction: “Day of Reckoning” schedule for HDnet broadcast, Jan. 23

DALLAS — HDNet Fights today announced their Mixed Martial Arts broadcast schedule for this Friday and Saturday, January 23 and 24, airing on HDNet. The full schedule features the television debut of “Affliction: Banned” and the exclusive broadcast of the five fight under card for the “Affliction: Day of Reckoning” event.
HDNet will kick off two days of coverage on Friday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. ET with a special edition of “Inside MMA” broadcast LIVE from the “Affliction: Day of Reckoning” weigh-ins at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
