The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission has suspended a handful of fighters following UFC 118. No majory injuries have been reported and most suspensions are for precautionary reasons.

As one would expect from an event that had two “Fight of the Night” bouts, there have been some medical suspensions handed out to some of the fighters from this past Saturday’s UFC 116 event.
If cleared by a doctor prior to the end of suspension period, a fighter may resume training and fight in competition. The list of suspensions includes:
Krzysztof Soszynski: must have his left thumb cleared by doctor or suspended until Dec. 31; minimum suspension runs until Sept. 2 with no contact until Aug. 18

As with nearly all UFC events, the overseeing athletic commission has dealt medical suspensions to the majority of fighters who competed in the most recent show.
Of note, Patrick Cote broke his hand and Jason Macdonald will require leg surgery to repair two break and a dislocated ankle. The full list of suspensions is:
