Nate “Rock” Quarry and his opponent for UFC 91, Demian Maia, have both tested clean for banned substances.
Both fighters join the list of Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, Amir Sadollah (withdrew due to injury), Nick Catone, Jorge Gurgel, Aaron Riley, Mark Bocek and Alvin Robinson, all of whom passed pre-event drug tests administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
These preliminary tests have been used to prevent the possibility of “cycling off” steroids and other banned substances.

MMAweekly.com is reporting that UFC lightweight Hermes Franca was arrested today after 2 a.m., on suspicion of driving under the influence after WEC 36.
This is now the latest installment the chronicles of Hermes of late, which includes his acceptance and return from a 12 month suspension earlier this year for steroid use in his fight with Sean Sherk. Sherk was also banned for 12 months after failing his drug test, but had the period reduced in half.

It has been revealed today that UFC middleweight Chris “The Crippler” Leben failed a drug test after his fight with British contender Michael “The Count” Bisping. Leben suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Bisping at UFC 89, which aired on Spike TV.
