It was not the finish to the night we were expecting, with Patrick “The Predator” Cote’s (13-5 MMA, 4-5 UFC) old knee injury coming back to haunt him in the first half of the third round. The Canadian took the middleweight champion Anderson Silva (23-4 MMA, 8-0 UFC) further into a title fight, than he had ever gone in the UFC. Unfortunately for the two warriors and us fans, that third round was as far as the action could go.
