A furiously paced lightweight match-up of Clay Guida facing off against Sean Sherk has emerged for UFC Fight Night 21 in March. The event will air live on Versus and will be held in Denver, as we wrote earlier today.
Guida most recently lost via second round submission to Kenny Florian but won “fight of the year” at the World MMA Awards for his unforgettable bout with Diego Sanchez. “The Carpenter” has recently hooked up with the successful Greg jackson camp in New Mexico and brings a relentless pace when entering …

The injuries just do…not…stop coming for the cursed UFC 108 fight card. The latest victim of the dark cloud hanging over this show is Sean Sherk, who was stepping in as a replacement against Jim Miller. Now that he will mend his own body, former UFC fighter Duane “Bang” Ludwig has been tapped as the new opponent.
Ludwig holds the unofficial “quickest knockout” record in the organization (over Jonathan Goulet) and is coming off a TKO victory over Ryan Roberts at Ring of Fire this month. Miller is 4-1 since entering …

Lightweight force Sean “Muscle Shark” Sherk has said he will be returning to the Octagon in May (UFC 98).
After posting a solid unanimous decision victory over fellow 155 lbs’er Tyson Griffin back in late 2008, Sean can now look forward to fighting once again after seven months of inactivity.
I’m fighting in May, can’t really say too much about it yet because it hasn’t been announced yet (rumored to be Frankie Edgar). It’ll be a good fight, I think a lot of people will be excited about it.
As for his opponent …
