As one would expect from an event that had two “Fight of the Night” bouts, there have been some medical suspensions handed out to some of the fighters from this past Saturday’s UFC 116 event.
If cleared by a doctor prior to the end of suspension period, a fighter may resume training and fight in competition. The list of suspensions includes:
Krzysztof Soszynski: must have his left thumb cleared by doctor or suspended until Dec. 31; minimum suspension runs until Sept. 2 with no contact until Aug. 18

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has released the numbers for UFC 94: “St. Pierre vs. Penn 2” in terms of live gate attendance and sales revenue.
UFC 66, UFC 83, UFC 79, UFC 91 and UFC 71 brought in more greenbacks at the gates than 94, and was second only to UFC 83: “St. Pierre vs. Serra 2” for attendance.
