UFC Fight Night 22 has officially been announced for September 15 in Austin, TX and the fight card is shaping up nicely. Headlining will be ground wizard Demian Maia taking on well-rounded Alan Belcher for a shot at serious title contention in the middleweight division. New York, NY, May 11, 2010 – Spike TV will telecast live undercard bouts from UFC® 115: LIDDELL vs. FRANKLIN on Saturday, June 12 at 9:00 PM ET/ 6:00 PM PT from the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. UFC 100 has just received another boost to its already fast-developing, historic fight card. Talented lightweights Mac Danzig (18-6-1) and Jim Miller (13-2) will meet in the Octagon on July 11, on the preliminary portion of the evening.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 6 winner Danzig has lost four of his last six fights, most recently dropping two bouts to Clay Guida (decision) and Josh Neer (submission). He now finds himself in a must-win situation, and matchmaker Joe Silva has handed Mac another tough challenge in Jim Miller.

With only 12 days left before UFC Fight Night 17 set to take place, Hermes Franca has suffered a serious knee injury and is not expected to remain on the fight card. His opponent Joe Lauzon, has not been given another opponent and it is unclear if he’ll stay as the headliner, with such a time crunch.
