With only 12 days left before UFC Fight Night 17 set to take place, Hermes Franca has suffered a serious knee injury and is not expected to remain on the fight card. His opponent Joe Lauzon, has not been given another opponent and it is unclear if he’ll stay as the headliner, with such a time crunch.
Franca announced this injury update on The Underground martial arts forum.

It’s no secret to those who know me that I’m a fan of the UFC’s ‘Fight Night’ events, which air for free on Spike TV (as opposed to pay-per-view).
