Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson eyes pro boxing, MMA is “project”

After Kimbo Slice was brutally defeated by Seth Petruzelli (prior to Elite XC’s demise), the MMA world wondered how much long the former street fighter would spend in the sport.
Well, it seems that has been answered in his interview with the Nassau Guardian…
“Boxing is really my first desire. I have a lot of love for it and believe I can do pretty well. [The sport of] MMA is somewhat of a project for me. Boxing is one dimensional while there are a lot of dimensions in MMA. I don’t think …

The aftermath of the promotion’s demise left many fighters without employment, and fans wondering when they’d get to see some of their favorite athletes back in action.
Well, today brings news of some resolve as popular California-centric MMA organization Strikeforce may soon pick …

Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson on Fields K-1 WGP 2008 Final’s HDNet broadcast team

As expected by many MMA ‘pundits’ including myself, Kimbo Slice has looked across the ocean for work after the demise of his former marketing schemers (aka failed fight organization) Elite XC.
Kevin Ferguson who is also widely known as “Kimbo Slice” from his YouTube street fighting days, will be a “guest broadcaster” during HDNet’s U.S. broadcast of FiELDS K-1 WGP 2008 Final. Now, if you’ve ever heard any of the attempted interviews with Kimbo, you’ll know full well the man utters no more than two to three consecutive words at a …
