Spike TV will telecast live undercard bouts from UFC 114: RAMPAGE vs. EVANS on Saturday, May 29 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The one-hour telecast will run with limited commercial interruption. UFC 114 will air on pay-per-view at 10:00 PM ET.

While both fighters possess crisp boxing, Maynard has the wrestling edge while Diaz has dangerous Gracie Jiu Jitsu. I expect this to be a back and forth battle going all over the Octagon and being decided by who can outmatch who on the ground. We all saw Joe Stevenson put a clinic on Diaz with his superior wrestling so it’s up to Diaz to bait for submission attempts.

After a loss in the TUF 8 Finale to lightweight winner Efrain Escudero, Phillipe Nover’s first off-show assignment in the UFC was Kyle Bradley back at 98: “Evans vs. Machida”.
