Bellator Fighting Championships 13 fight results, Huerta taps Hinton, Quach KO’d

Bellator’s second season debut went off last night exciting fans and fighters alike as many of the matches ended in brilliant finishes. Lightweight tournament favorite Roger Huerta submitted Chad Hinton with a textbook kneebar in the third round after dominating the first two and notable Joe Warren bested his opponent with a unanimous decision victory.

Bellator 13 fight card set for Thursday’s season debut show

Bellator Fighting Championships is set to make its second season debut kicking off with a televised event via Fox Sports Net this Thursday. Headlining the card is a lightweight tournament first-round bout between Roger “El Matador” Huerta and undefeated Chad Hinton.
A solid under card rounds out the April 8th event. Full match-ups are below…

Bellator Fighting Championships announce signings of Janne Tulirinta and Chad Hinton for April tournament

CHICAGO, Ill. (March 4, 2010) - An undefeated fighter from Cincinnati and a police officer from Scandinavia are the latest additions to Bellator Fighting Championships’ upcoming Season 2 lightweight tournament.
The two fighters - Janne Tulirinta (12-3) and Chad Hinton (6-0) - join Ferrid Kheder, Mike Ricci and Carey Vanier in the nationally televised tournament, which begins April 8th. The last three 155 lbs. fighters will be announced later this month.
Bellator will also conduct tournaments at 145, 170 and 185 lbs. during its second season, which will be televised on FOX …
