Fighter pay figures for UFC 116: “Lesnar vs. Carwin”

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has released UFC 116 fighters’ pay figures. The amounts the athletes made (not including sponsorships, etc.) are:
-
Brock Lesnar: $400,000 (no win bonus)
Shane Carwin: $40,000
Lesnar defeated Carwin by submission (arm-triangle choke)

Chris Leben: $86,000 ($43,000 to show, $43,000 to win)
Yoshihiro Akiyama: $45,000
Leben defeated Akiyama by submission (triangle choke)

Stephan Bonnar: $50,000 ($25,000 to show, $25,000 to win)
Krzsyztof Soszynski: $10,000
Bonnar defeated Soszynski by TKO (strikes)

Chris Lytle: $52,000 ($26,000 to show, $26,000 to win)
Matt Brown: $10,000
Lytle defeated Brown by submission (armbar)

UFC 116: “Lesnar vs. Carwin” fight bonuses awarded to six fighters

UFC handed out $75,000 bonus checks to six fighters after their performances at UFC 116. There was two Fight of the Night bonuses awarded.
Fight of the Night – Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar (Bonnar won by TKO in Round 2)
Chris Leben vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama (Leben won by submission in Round 3)
Submission of the Night – Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin (Lesnar won by submission in Round 2)
Knockout of the Night – Gerald Harris vs. Dave Branch (Harris won by knockout in Round 3)

UFC held a hugely successful event over the weekend with 116: “Lesnar vs. Carwin” living up to and surpassing all expectations for the stacked line-up.
Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar defended his belt against Shane Carwin in an awe-inspiring second round comeback, man of steel Chris Leben scored his biggest career victory by submitting Yoshihiro Akiyama with seconds remaining in the third round of their middleweight clash and many more main and under card moments became instant classics.

Spike TV set to televise UFC 116: “Lesnar vs. Carwin” weigh-ins

Spike TV will telecast live coverage of the weigh-ins for the highly-anticipated “UFC 116 Lesnar-Carwin” fight card on Friday, July 2 at 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT.  The main event features a showdown between the top two heavyweight mixed martial artists in the world, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and interim heavyweight titlist Shane Carwin.
