For whom the telly tolls: Sky and Bravo in the mix for UK UFC rights

With the recent collapse of Setanta Sports, the UFC no longer has a home on television in the United Kingdom. Seen as a huge opportunity by rival Bravo and Sky, the two networks are both competing for a deal with the world’s most successful mixed martial arts organization.
With fans in the UK clamoring for guaranteed UFC 100 coverage, company brass must move quickly on both ends of the table.
According to the Daily Star, talks are in progress and the UFC will likely announce a new UK telly carrier next week …
