jason guidaWe’ve heard rumors swirling that Jason Guida is on tap to replace Ken Shamrock at “March Badness”, and will face Bobby Lashley.

Shamrock was set to take on the former WWE star Lashley, after a now tainted win over Ross Clifton. Following the Clifton bout, Ken was busted for using banned substances (three types of steroids). Being that he is now suspended for one year, the search is/was on for his replacement in the upcoming hybrid boxing & MMA event put on by Roy Jones Jr.

It seems that replacement has been secured, and his name is none other than Jason Guida. Jason, the the brother of popular UFC lightweight Clay, received some air time on The Ultimate Fighter season 8 before being dropped for missing weight.

This is a fairly unexpected development, however an intriguing one. We’ll keep you posted as the Lashley vs. Guida situation becomes more clear.
