In a city like Las Vegas where celebrity sightings are as common as taxis on the Strip, it’s not unusual to see Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) personalities receiving the same recognition and adulation usually reserved for rock legends, TV and Hollywood stars.

But for members of the MMA Community to be included by “Las Vegas Weekly” in their recent Top 50 list of “Personalities who define Las Vegas” — this is a sign of how the fastest growing sport in the world has become such a prominent part of the Mainstream culture.

So how fitting is it that four out of the Top 50 personalities are MMA names.

Nestled between Steve Wynn, Wayne Newton and Marie Osmond are UFC president, Dana White (#5), UFC MMA Artist, Randy Couture (27), MMA Artist. Forrest Griffin (#39) and UFC Ring Girl, Arianny Celeste (#46).

FightZone TV is proud to be a part of the growth of MMA and happy to have featured all four in many of our shows with Interviews by Jay Adams on Brawl Call while Arianny, Randy and Forrest are frequent guests on our MMA 30 show, produced in Vegas.

And the current airing of MMA 30 on FightZone TV has quite a scoop for our viewers when Host Dave Farra scores an exclusive interview with UFC Hall of Famer and Five-Time UFC Champion Randy “The Natural” Couture as he announces his plans to run for Las Vegas Mayor. The MMA 30 crew along with Joey Varner conduct a quick people poll at Borders in Vegas for some reactions. See the surprising results for yourself at: www.FightZone.TV in a sneak preview of MMA 30 Episode 13 now airing nationally.

Since first airing 5 years ago, FightZone TV Broadcasts have rapidly grown and are now available almost daily to over 47 million cable homes and satellite subscribers across the country. Visit www.FightZone.TV for airing schedules.
