Call it a wonder of the open blacktop but long hauls often offer myself a window of opportunity to spitball various ideas and projects on my plate. Some serious road time was put in over the past few days as I drove out of state and back again for some video/photo work, and I decided to record some thoughts of mine regarding the build-up to and potential fall-out of Randy Couture vs. James Toney. The heavyweight bout will go down this weekend in Boston at UFC 118 and has created quite the buzz not only in the MMA world but somewhat in the boxing community as well.
