We had reported earlier last week that TUF 8 Finalist (lightweight) Phillipe Nover would likely be making his next appearance inside the Octagon this fall. Shortly thereafter, we also learned that the talented 155 lbs.’er may step in for the injured Kyle Bradley at UFC Fight Night 19 and relayed the possible news via our Twitter account.
It is now being reported that Nover has accepted the fight with Stout on four weeks notice. He will look to rebound from a flash TKO loss to none other than Bradley back at UFC 98.
Nover rose to fame after his impressive wins on The Ultimate Fighter season 8 on Team Nogueira. He eventually met Efrain Escudero in the finale but submission attempts could not overcome Escudero’s wrestling.
