Nate Diaz vs. Clay Guida slated for UFC 94 fight card
As we reported to you in October, the rumored bout between UFC lightweight contenders Nate Diaz (10-2) and Clay Guida (24-9) will be taking place in January at UFC 94.
Clay’s 4-3 in the UFC, but don’t let the record fool you. This man’s a cardio beast who consistently dominates his opponents. After a close loss to Roger Huerta, at the TUF 6 finale, Guida has since put together his first back-to-back victories in the organization he’s called home since being signed in 2006.
Diaz is a significant force in the 155 lbs. division and is undefeated since fighting in the UFC. He most recently went the distance with a very game Josh Neer.
With both Guida and Diaz coming off great victories at FIght Night 15, this is an exciting match-up that should not be missed. Respectively, the men they defeated (Mac Danzig, Josh Neer) are scheduled to meet on the Fight Night 17 card.
