More proof that the UFC’s global expansion is wise
News out of Guam of MMA hitting their silver screens is further proof positive that the UFC’s plan to global and expand into holding more events outside the US, is a solid move on their part. Martial arts has been and is, worldwide. Some of the world’s best fighters are living and fighting in parts of Asia, South America, and beyond.
Quoteworthy:
“I Fuetsan I Taotao” — which means the strength of the people — is a MMA movie from a Chamorro cultural angle that is scheduled to start filming next year in Guam, Saipan, Hawaii and San Diego. Auditions for parts in the movie are scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday at Guahan Project in Suite 301 at the Core Pacific Business Center located above Hornet Sporting Goods in Tamuning.
Alex Munoz, the film’s director, said that the movie doesn’t glorify violence and it has a real positive message.
