Kurt Pellegrino vs. Frankie Edgar likely for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 10 Finale
UFC lightweight contenders Kurt Pellegrino (14-4) and Frankie Edgar (10-1) will likely meet in the Octagon at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 10 Finale.
Pellegrino has been on a three fight tear in the cage after losing to Nate Diaz. “Batman” has bounced back from that defeat by taking care of Thiago Tavares, Rob Emerson and Josh Neer. With a sharp ground game and effective stand-up, Pellegrino has refueled his career and is looking more and more like a shot at the title could be in his near future. He will of course, have to get through Frankie Edgar to do so.
Edgar has rebounded from an April 2008 loss to Gray Maynard by beating Hermes Franca and Sean Sherk. Coming into the Sherk bout, Edgar was a heavy underdog and surprised nearly everyone with crisp, dominating hands in addition to already expert wrestling.
