The additions keep on coming for the UFC 110 fight card. This time we are excited to report a quality light heavyweight match-up between TUF 8 winner Ryan “Darth” Bader and UFC vet Keith “Dean of Mean” Jardine.
Jardine finds himself in a must-win situation once again after having lost to Quinton Jackson (UFC 96) and Thiago Silva (UFC 102). Jardine is a well-rounded fighter even being that we have not seen much of his ground game. Fighting out of Greg Jackson’s camp is a huge factor coming into this bout and the proper game plan will be critical against a young, hungry and strong opponent.
Bader finds himself in a great position going into 110 because he’s undefeated in his pro career with 3 victories inside the Octagon. A “W” over a name opponent like Jardine would boost him into potential contender status and do wonders for his campaign at 205 lbs. He must keep in mind, though, that Keith is capable of beating anyone on any given day and has had his hand raised against Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin and Brandon Vera.
110 will be held in Sydney, Australia and fans down under will be treated to a great card. In addition to Jardine vs. Bader, Wanderlei Silva headlines opposite Michael Bisping while other notables include Mirko Cro-Cop Filipovic, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, local Elvis Sinosic and more.
