Jim Miller replaces injured Frankie Edgar on UFC Fight for the Troops card

Frankie Edgar is now out of UFC Fight for the Troops, due to an injury. Lightweight up-and-comer Jim Miller will take Edgar’s place against Matt Wiman on Wednesday, December 10 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C.
The upcoming UFC “Fight for the Troops” show has undergone a last minute change as lightweight competitor Frankie Edgar has been forced off the card with an undisclosed injury. Stepping in to replace him is up and coming 155-pound star Jim Miller, who takes the fight against Matt Wiman on just over one week’s notice.
The new fight was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the situation.
The event also features a main event of welterweight contender Josh Koscheck (11-2) vs. Yoshiyuki “Zenko” Yoshida (10-2). Edgar’s injury is unknown at this time, but 6th-Round.com will be reporting updates as they develop.
