Jjess jt money tayloresse “JT Money” Taylor has been invited back to compete in Strikeforce on November 6, after losing a late-notice bout to Jay Hieron back in August. Hieron was originally scheduled to face Nick Diaz for the first ever Strikeforce welterweight title but Diaz failed for his drug test in California and could not gain licensed status. After Taylor was called upon, the switch was made official and Hieron bested him with a unanimous decision victory.

“Money” made a name for himself after appearing on UFC’s reality show “The Ultimate Fighter” but left a bad taste in many mouths with binge drinking which ultimately lead to a blown chance at the finals. Jesse has made the most of his time outside of the UFC competing frequently and winning 7 of 7 (including a successful Japan debut) before the recent loss and now looks to get back in the win column this November.

Taylor’s opponent has not yet been made available but we’ll keep you posted. The rumored card for November’s “Challengers” event is:

Billy Evangelista vs. Jorge Gurgel (main event)
Jesse Taylor vs. TBA
Ben Holscher vs. TBA
Casey Olson vs. TBA
Anthony Ruiz vs. TBA
Cole Escovedo vs. TBA
Zoila Frausto vs. TBA
