gray d ufc 112 invincible picks predictionsWelcome 6th Rounders, to my picks and predictions for UFC 112. “Invincible” will air Saturday night via pay-per-view (U.S.) beginning at 1 and 10 p.m. EST (under card at 7:30/10:30). This card features a main event between dominant champ Silva and elite BJJ player Maia. A solid line-up calls for solid picks, right? Whether you agree or disagree, leave your thoughts by commenting.

As a lead writer here, there’s a certain responsibility for making quality peeks into the future. That being said, anything can (and does) happen in mixed martial arts. With an overall 227-140 record thus far since our launch, let’s get into how I, Gray D., see the action inside the cage going down from Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Silva fight was SOOOO disappointing!! What was up with all that dancing around in the last rounds? That was reminiscent of the Alexander/Kimbo fight for a minute. Not a good thing! However, having said that, it could have just been a bad night. Silva admitted he took his opponent a bit too lightly. He probably didn’t deserve the Dana bashing over one bad night. I hope we see the old Silva next time.

Hey Erika, it was pretty rough having to sit through that embarrassment of an outing. Silva has done this twice before against Cote and Leites and it’s getting pretty unbearable. I certainly hope they can figure out the problem that is Anderson Silva. Perhaps a fight at heavyweight is exactly what this champ needs…
