gray d strikeforce picksWelcome 6th Rounders, to my picks and predictions for Strikeforce. “Carano vs. Cyborg” will air Saturday night via Showtime beginning at 10:30 p.m. EST. This weekend’s Strikeforce show includes a main event featuring Chute Boxe fighter Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos taking on the world’s most recognizable female fighter in Gina “Conviction” Carano. A solid line-up calls for solid picks, right? Whether you agree or disagree, leave your thoughts by commenting.

As a lead writer here, there’s a certain “responsibility” for making quality peeks into the future. That being said, anything can (and does) happen in mixed martial arts. With an overall 122-78 record thus far since our launch, let’s get into how I, Gray D., see the action inside the cage going down on August 15 from San Jose, California.

Picks outcome: 6-3

Gina Carano vs. Cristiane Santos: Carano by TKO - Round 4
Gilbert Melendez
vs. Mitsuhiro Ishida: Melendez via unanimous decision
Renato Sobral vs. Gegard Mousasi: Sobral by submission - Round 2
Jay Hieron vs. Jesse Taylor: Hieron by TKO - Round 2
Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Kyle: Werdum by submission - Round 1

-
