Gray D. here with my predictions/picks for Fight Night 16: “UFC Fight for the Troops”. It’ll be a great night of fights for an important cause – the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Update: PICK OUTCOMES: 7-3
When I first learned of the official fight card and posted it here at 6th-Round.com, my MMA blood began pumping most for the Koscheck vs. Yoshida fight. Kos is arguably the best wrestler in the UFC and “Zenko” (Yoshida) is a solid Judo player.
This makes for an exciting match-up in more ways than just this one, as both can be hard-hitting and Josh is looking to rebound from a loss to Thiago Alves mere weeks ago. Koscheck took that fight on short notice, and will show the same warrior-like, company-man spirit tonight when this event gets kicked off at 9 p.m. ET airing on Spike.
Without further ado, here are my picks. Agree or disagree, please share your thoughts by commenting.
6th-Round.com will be posting LIVE fight results from UFC Fight for the Troops beginning this evening at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET starting with the under card bouts, and 9 p.m. ET when the main televised card gets underway. Stay tuned!
