With the recent collapse of Setanta Sports, the UFC no longer has a home on television in the United Kingdom. Seen as a huge opportunity by rival Bravo and Sky, the two networks are both competing for a deal with the world’s most successful mixed martial arts organization.
With fans in the UK clamoring for guaranteed UFC 100 coverage, company brass must move quickly on both ends of the table.
According to the Daily Star, talks are in progress and the UFC will likely announce a new UK telly carrier next week via the official website at UFC.com.
While this is all good news that things are indeed moving forward, time is running out and those across the pond will need to keep their fingers crossed.
