Duane “Bang” Ludwig returns to UFC at “108″ as replacement for injured Sean Sherk
The injuries just do…not…stop coming for the cursed UFC 108 fight card. The latest victim of the dark cloud hanging over this show is Sean Sherk, who was stepping in as a replacement against Jim Miller. Now that he will mend his own body, former UFC fighter Duane “Bang” Ludwig has been tapped as the new opponent.
Ludwig holds the unofficial “quickest knockout” record in the organization (over Jonathan Goulet) and is coming off a TKO victory over Ryan Roberts at Ring of Fire this month. Miller is 4-1 since entering the Octagon and has put together back-to-back wins against Mac Danzig and Steve Lopez.
The full fight card (until someone else becomes injured) is as follows:
Main card (televised):
Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva
Paul Daley vs. Dustin Hazelett
Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
Jim Miller vs. Duane Ludwig
Junior Dos Santos vs. Gilbert YvelUnder card (may not be broadcast):
Rafaello Oliveira vs. John Gunderson
Dan Lauzon vs. Cole Miller
Martin Kampmann vs. Jacob Volkmann
Steve Cantwell vs. Vladimir Matyushenko
Ryan Jensen vs. Mark Munoz
Jake Ellenberger vs. Mike Pyle
