Former number-one welterweight contender Dan Hardy will face the opponent he requested in Chris Lytle on August 14. According to This is Nottingham, the 170 lbs. division clash will take place at the top of a fight card in the “UFC Live: Fight Night” series.
Hardy, nicknamed ‘the Outlaw’, will fight American Chris Lytle at ‘UFC Live’ in Milwaukee on August 14, and will train in Las Vegas in the build-up to it.
“The Outlaw” was last seen losing his third fight in a row against Anthony Johnson, following losses to Georges St-Pierre (title fight) and Carlos Condit. Although having a rough 2011, Hardy has been training full-time in Las Vegas and looks to maintain employment with the UFC via a victory over the crafty veteran he’ll face this summer.
