Chuck Liddell to coach The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 11 opposite Tito Ortiz
During tonight’s TUF 10 Finale broadcast, the promotion let it be known that the coaches for season 11 of the popular reality show will be MMA legends Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.
6th-Round.com first heard word of Ortiz as a coach earlier in the evening during the prelim portion of the evening and eventually news of Liddell half an hour prior to President Dana White’s announcement. We relayed the info to fans via our Twitter account.
Chuck and Tito headlined the biggest selling UFC event of all time and have fought twice before with Liddell winning each meeting in convincing fashion. Although each are towards the end of their respective careers inside the Octagon, they each are known as excellent coaches with plenty of knowledge to pass along when they take younger talent under their wings next year.
Additionally, they two former light heavyweight champions will meet for a third fight after season 11 wraps up. The fight has the potential to be one of the biggest draws in 2010 for the UFC.
