Chuck Liddell returning to form, says training partner Villefort
While many criticized former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell’s taste for the nightlife, it was never given credential until he started losing to the likes of Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans, etc.
Now it seems that he’s back on a strict track and training harder than ever, according to camp partner Danilo Villefort. Danilo’s a brash up-and-comer in the WEC and is currently at American Top Team with Liddell.
“One Saturday we went to a fashion show and everyone was drinking champagne and he was enjoying a yogurt drink which he had taken from home!
The guy is flying! I have heard some stories about Shogun enjoying the carnival. My carnival was in San Louis Obispo fighting Liddell.”
Chuck will meet former PRIDE star Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 97 in Montreal next month. UFC President Dana White has made it clear Liddell must win in impressive fashion if he is to continue a career inside the Octagon.
