MMA on TV reminder: final episode of TUF 9 “US vs. UK” airs tonight on Spike

As a reminder to all TUF fans, the final episode of season 9 “US vs. UK” is being broadcast tonight.
Tune into Spike at 10 p.m. EST to see Frankie Lester rematch James Wilks for the final spot in the welterweight finals. Other finalists include Damarques Johnson (WW), Ross Pearson (LW) and Andre Winner (LW).

MMA on TV reminder - TUF 9 episode #2 airs tonight, April 8 on Spike

As a reminder for fans of TUF, the second episode in the ninth season is airing tonight on Spike. Tune in at 9 p.m. EST to see the US fighters battle it out for their spots on the show.
16 fighters will be whittled down to 8, just as the first episode featuring the Brits went down. From the looks of the promo spots on Spike, weight cutting is a definite issue for at least one of the lads.

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 9 premier ratings a success

New York, NY, April 3, 2009 — Unlike most television series which suffer ratings decline as they get older, the ratings for “The Ultimate Fighter” are like fine wine, getting better with age.
The season nine premiere of “The Ultimate Fighter: U.S. vs. U.K.” on Wednesday, April 1 drew its highest rating in Men 18-49 since Season 4 (August, 2006) and its most watched season premiere since Season 5 (April, 2007). Dan Henderson officially announced as coach of Team USA for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 9

New York, NY, January 22, 2009 — Dan Henderson will serve as coach of the American team for season nine of “The Ultimate Fighter: US vs. UK” premiering Wednesday, April 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV.
Henderson earned the right to coach after defeating former middleweight champ Rich Franklin via split decision after an intense bout at UFC 93 last Saturday night. He will be opposed by British sensation Michael Bisping. Production for “The Ultimate Fighter: Team US vs. Team UK” begins this Friday, January 23 in Las Vegas.
