Following last night’s two-hour episode of The Ultimate Fighter, the finalists were revealed. With Nam Phan and Kyle Watson being defeated by their respective opponents, the finalized fight card has been announced. Both Phan and Watson will be given a chance to fight at the event before finalists Brookins and Johnson square off to determine this season’s winner.

The list of fighters competing in the upcoming season (12) of The Ultimate Fighter has been made public. These lightweights will compete for a six-figure contract with the UFC. There are some impressive records here with this cast and initial stats seem to point to a good season. Coaches will be Josh Koscheck and Georges St-Pierre with the first episode airing on Spike TV, Sept. 15.

The WEC 50 fight card took a massive hit with Urijah Faber announcing via his Twitter account that a knee injury has forced him out of his scheduled match.
Former WEC featherweight champ Faber was set to make his bantamweight debut against Takeya Mizugaki in Vegas next month but that will now have to wait as “The California Kid” will be on the mend.
There is no word of a potential replacement yet but we will keep you update as more details are released.
