Can’t stop, won’t stop: Sean Sherk and Clay Guida to scrap at UFC Fight Night 21
A furiously paced lightweight match-up of Clay Guida facing off against Sean Sherk has emerged for UFC Fight Night 21 in March. The event will air live on Versus and will be held in Denver, as we wrote earlier today.
Guida most recently lost via second round submission to Kenny Florian but won “fight of the year” at the World MMA Awards for his unforgettable bout with Diego Sanchez. “The Carpenter” has recently hooked up with the successful Greg jackson camp in New Mexico and brings a relentless pace when entering the Octagon.
Sherk has been on the shelf for quite some time after losing to Frankie Edgar, plagued by injuries (including the UFC 108 curse). “The Muscle Shark” will be facing another excellent wrestler in this match so a stand-up war is indeed a possibility for these men.
